Goal: Present a unique point of tension within a particular story through graphical representation of data. Convey the emotional and intellectual depth of the particular aspect of a larger story.
Strategy: After selecting "The Last Of Us", a story that I felt particularly moved by, I carried out desk research and focused on small details within the story and gameplay that contribute to the weight of Joel's final decision in the story. I compiled this data into graphical format and designed an infographic poster to highlight the key elements of the story that contribute to the question regarding the viability of Joel's decision. I made design choices regarding the typography and colour palette of the poster in order to convey the emotional weight of the story, as well as to reference the source content. This project required skills in visual design, research, and storytelling.
